We listen. Listening might not sound like much, but it’s one of the most important things we do. We listen without judgment to the things you say and to the things you don’t. We listen to your passions, your interests, and the challenges you face. We listen to you.
We work together with you, as a team, to identify and explore your greatest strengths, skills and dreams.
We help you remove obstacles that stand between you and your goals.
We work with you to form a plan of action designed to help you achieve your goals, and we do it in a way that works best for you.
We don’t focus on your past – unlike counseling, which spends months or years reviewing the past, addiction recovery coaching is all about today, tomorrow, and building the future you deserve.
We help you to clearly identify the things you want in life and form a strategy to help you get there.
We offer accountability to our clients. We help you plot your own course, guide you through it, and empower you to live a happy and fulfilling life.
We help you to rebuild relationships with your family, friends and loved ones.
You need a sincere desire to change your life and we will help you to do just that. If you’re not ready to change, then Recovery Coaching is not for you. But, if you are truly prepared to break the chain, there is no simpler or faster way to do it than with a trained Recovery Coach.
We start with a free consultation, which runs about an hour. The free consultation is a way for us to get to know one another before we begin live coaching sessions. If we decide to work together, we’ll meet for 40 – 60 minutes, one day per week. Most sessions are held over the phone, but can also be done using video chat, instant messenger, or in your home depending on your personal preference (home visits available to the Delaware Valley). Unlimited e-mail communication is included between sessions. The beauty of electronic coaching is that it can be done from the comfort of your home, office, or even on the road. All that’s required is a quiet spot and a telephone or Internet connection, which can be wired or wireless. Thanks to the latest advances in technology, meeting for sessions has never been easier.
Contact us toll-free (855-9-ADVENT), via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or this online form. Please feel free to include any questions you may have. To learn more about our services and packages, visit our Services page.
Home visits and FREE formal presentations are available to businesses and residents of the Delaware Valley.
Yes, Todd is an Addictions counselor but Advent Recovery is not a counseling service rather we are a coaching service. Recovery coaching is a strength-based system of support for individuals who have an addiction to anything from drugs and alcohol to overeating and self harm. We also support those who want to maintain their recovery or overcome and move forward from a crisis that they have experienced in their lives. We work with the present and make plans for the future. Recovery coaching is not like therapy because coaches do not spend much time on the past, or healing trauma and unlike licensed addiction counselors coaches are not clinicians and do not diagnose or treat mental illness or addiction. Recovery coaches stay in the present and utilize their clients strengths and available tools to assist them in positive directions.
